Unstoppable: A Queer Dancical (Green Carpet Studios)

I returned to theater acting after 20 years to play the complex and dynamic character of Susan Monroe, a politician caught between her ambition and her heart. I felt so lucky to be in community with an incredibly diverse crew of queer and allied Seattle talents! Sharing our creation with audiences over 3 weekends was amazingly powerful - the show was moving, fun and heartbreaking with a strong message of hope and resilience. And I learned a lot about how a character can really come together if you find the perfect wig!

Writer/director Zheng Wang has created a movie version of the show from footage shot over all 9 performances - let me know if you’d like to come to the screening in late June! Here’s a 5-minute video I put together of some of my scenes from the production!
